Have You Had Your Miso Soup Today?

On January 1, 2009, Rich and I launched our tribute to technology evangelism and Miso Soup, hoping to one day be a valuable branch of the blogging tree as well as possibly build our very own Death Star. Imagine how cool a TechMiso Death Star would be, serving up fresh Miso Soup concoctions daily! Seriously though, TechMiso is written by a couple of passionate geeks who enjoy tech conversation, tech criticism, insightful tech commentary and acute analysis of the technology realm. Was the word "technology" used enough in that statement?

TechMiso has written about a variety of topics since our launch, such as government, Google, Apple, Entertainment industry and assorted topics. Here are some sample articles:

I am generally referred to as The Yellow Alien here on deviantART even though my real name is Scott Jarkoff. Since 1990, ten years prior to co-founding deviantART, I have been living in central Japan near Yokohama, the third largest city in this island country. I am married to the greatest woman alive and have a son who, at the time of this writing, is 10 years old.

While I am a co-founder my daily activities label me as the Director, Community Development. I manage and oversee our Help Desk Team, Policy Violation Team, News Team and the Message Network @dministration. The position is effectively that of the one who leads the community in the various directions that it needs to go. Sounds weird, I know, but that is the basic definition. Management, and general community administration, take up a large portion of my time but I also submit product specifications in order to make your suggestions a reality.

Throughout your travels here at deviantART you should pay tribute to °matteo, °arc and °tack for the large amount of help that they gave deviantART in its early days.
